Herdade da Rocha
Located in Crato, in Portalegre, close to the slopes of the São Mamede mountain range, a unique place was born for the production of different and superior wines.
Herdade da Rocha launched the first vintage in 2012, bottling a limited series of 1350 bottles. In 2013, Couto Saramago Red Wine and Couto Saramago Selection wines were produced. The year 2016 was marked by the launch of white and rosé wines.

Boutique Lodge
Located in Herdade da Rocha, the Olival house and the suites with terrace are also surrounded by one of the fantastic vineyards on this property. The unit invites you to taste the olive oils and wines of its own production, as well as the regional gastronomy.

Retiro da Paz
Inaugurado em 2019 pelo Prémio Nobel da Paz José Ramos Horta, o retiro da Paz foi criado para homenagear este defensor dos Direitos Humanos. É possível apreciar o mais belo pôr-do-sol enquanto se degusta uma garrafa de vinho da Herdade da Rocha ou um piquenique preparado pelo staff do nosso restaurante.

A Herdade da Rocha tem como missão a proteção e preservação das espécies cinegéticas autóctones. Essa ideologia faz com que, ainda hoje, esta Herdade seja considerada um “santuário de caça” onde os animais, em harmonia com a vegetação e toda a vida aqui presente, possam viver em pleno, sendo devidamente respeitados e cuidados
